Lessons 5.2 and 5.3

Tuesday, November 30th, 2010

Please understand that there will not be enough time to go over the 5.2 homework on the day of the 5.3 lesson. Students will need to find a time on their own to ask questions if needed.

If students are struggling with 5.3, then check out the Geometry Class Page and look at the 5.3 handouts, videos, weblinks, and more. Vocabulary is key to do well in this lesson so be sure to prepare yourself.

The 5.3 worksheet may have to be taken home for homework in addition to the book work if students did not finish by the end of the period.  The answers to the even numbers are 2.) (4,0) 4.) incenter 6.) median 8.) perpendicular bisector 10.) altitude 12.) (a) (0,0) (b) (3,-4).
